Chart-topping American country artist NIKO MOON has been having a very good time since breaking out as a solo act in 2019, after being a member for a couple years of Sir Rosevelt alongside fellow artists Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti.
His first single "Good Time" went #1 on country radio and his other hits continue to climb the charts as he releases more and more music, bringing a feel-good positive vibes message to all that listen.
Originally from Tyler, Texas, Moon relocated to Douglasville, Georgia when he was 10. His father, a truck driver and his mother, a waitress, introduced Niko to the works of artists like John Prine and Patty Griffin.
Beyond singing, Moon has written eight #1 songs and over 40 major record label cuts for artists such as Morgan Wallen, Avicii, Dierks Bentley, Pitbull, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts and more. He also co-produced the Zac Brown Band albums, Jekyll+Hyde and Welcome Home, and was recently named a SESAC country songwriter of the year.
When not touring, Moon resides in Nashville, TN and is married to singer-songwriter Anna Moon, with whom they share a daughter, Lily Ann Moon. He is also the founder of the "Happy Cowboy Foundation", a 501c3 nonprofit that helps raise awareness and funds for those in need of help to battle various addictions.
What It Feels Like, the new Aly & AJ single, embraces new life stages in our objectifying culture. It is a song, written by a new mother and a new aunt, about the beauty in noticing physical changes and resolving to admire them, prioritizing positivity and using family and sisterhood as a foundation to lean on during difficult mental health moments. It is also a response to an industry that doesn't tend to value women as they grow through life and represents a sound that is authentically two sisters who want to make rock music at any cost.
The song was recorded in Topanga Canyon with producer Jonathan Wilson. Aly gave birth during the session and the two sisters hope that this spirit of fertility, nature, womanhood, motherhood, sisterhood and growth comes bursting out of the recording. As the lyrics state, "That's ok I'm not afraid. I want to know what it feels like."
After selling out shows across their last headlining run, including a raucous hometown show at The Greek Theatre in LA, Aly & AJ will appear at several festivals before a headlining run later in 2025 to promote their forthcoming album, Silver Deliverer. 2025 marks their 20th year as a band.
Welcome to my diary entries.
girlhood. is a spectrum, and we're all on it together.
Home Is Where wanted to write The Great American Song. Hunting Season, their third LP, has 13 of these, each one detailing the dying thoughts of an Elvis impersonator consumed by fumes and flames in a car wreck. To be clear, these songs are not all sung from the perspective of the same dying Elvis impersonator, but from 13 different Elvis impersonators, all dying in a thirteen-car pileup. An unlucky number of imitation Elvises, each grasping at their final scraps of life as they all burn—stuck in separate cars, but together in wreckage and in death. What could be more American than that?
home is where forever.
Blending raw, haunting timeless tones with a deep sense of atmosphere, Moonrisers carve out unique space in the worlds of Doom Folk, Gloomcore, and Slowcore in their debut album 'Harsh & Exciting.' Rooted in the experimental music scene of Detroit, MI, the album features the evocative guitarist Libby DeCamp and the nuanced and rhythmic force of Adam Schreiber’s percussion. Produced by Dan Auerbach, their utterly remarkable instrumental sound is a magnetic fusion of shadowy elegance and cinematic depth.
